Maureen makes huge progress at our clinic

Maureen is 18 months old and has epilepsy and cerebral palsy. She attends a clinic in Kasese run by the Kyaninga Child Development Centre - one of Accomplish's partner organisations in Uganda.

Maureen and her mother

Maureen has received epilepsy medication, physiotherapy and occupational therapy at the clinic. As a result, her epileptic seizures have stopped completely. She has strengthened her arms and can now hold objects.

Maureen's mother has become a local champion, bringing other frightened parents to the Kasese clinic so that their children can access epilepsy care.
