BeanBlock cafe is raising money for school meals in Uganda

Updated: Apr 2, 2023

We're excited to be partnering with BeanBlock café in Newark, Nottinghamshire, to provide meals for deaf, blind or disabled children in our Ugandan schools. Just 20p will give one student a nutritious meal. Such a small cost for such a big impact!

The BeanBlock team has put a donations pot in their café, and they are encouraging customers to spare some coins to feed disabled children in Uganda.

Children are at the heart of BeanBlock’s ethos. The café is a not-for-profit enterprise, offering an environment where young children can play with imaginative equipment, babies can be nursed in comfort, and parents/guardians can have those all-important supportive conversations.

Next time you’re in Newark, please stop by BeanBlock café in St Marks Place. The café is just off the market square. Find out more at https://www.beanblocknewark.co.uk/

Do you know of other any cafes, restaurants or other businesses that might be willing to host a collection pot or add a 20p donation onto the cost of their meals? If so, please get in touch with us at hello@accomplishtrust.org.uk Thank you!
